UX is determined in large part by UI – the User Interface. In other words, whether software or hardware, the way the product is designed, and the way a user can or must interact with it.
Some people have it, some people don’t – I have it. UX/UI feels so natural, so intuitive, so deeply ingrained – yet I know it is a skill trained by a lifetime of integrating a pursuit of excellence with both an analytical-scientific rationality, as well as an intuitive-aesthetic creative sensibility.
